There are many moving parts right now. Along with the new KidsTown building, we are totally remodeling the bathrooms in the Welcome Hallway, Welcome Hallway has been widened, work is happening in the old Kidstown Worship area (that will become the Cafe), and we have begun work in the prayer garden to expand the Welcome Hallway
There are many things going on inside the new KidsTown building right now.
- All of the sheetrock has been installed
- They are wrapping up the mudding for the drywall
- HVAC ducts are installed
- the HVAC system is running in about half the building
- Some interior painting has begun
- Tile in the bathrooms is underway
- Networking / HDMI cable is being installed throughout the building.

The Playscape Room
There are a lot of things going in with regard to the new Welcome hallway. The main part of the hallway has been widened out (into the prayer chapel). The old prayer chapel will be the location of a new restroom.
The footprint of the prayer garden will be where the rest of the Welcome Hallway will be widened. They have also modified the corner of the old Men’s restroom to make the hallway much more open. The pipes have all been replaced and the floors of both new restrooms have been repoured with concrete.

First, the sign has survived over 50 years behind old drywall.
Second, this space was originally intended to be a gathering place. As we transition it into a cafe, that is what it will become not only a gathering place for our church
We are so thankful for the way you, our church family, have sacrificially and faithfully financially supported the Building the Future Initiative. If you haven’t had a chance to participate and would like to, visit tabernaclefamily.org/building
