KIDS HOPE USA

Tabernacle is beginning something new Fall 2017. It’s called Kids Hope USA. The national program, Kids Hope USA, is a faith based elementary school mentoring program that honors the separation of church and state while following the Jesus Way of loving others.

As a church, we’re adopting Lummus Intermediate to build these caring relationships – primarily through a one on one mentoring program. We will also be looking for ways to come alongside the faculty and staff to support and encourage throughout the school year.

- Mentor - give my time to a child one hour per week at the school.
- Prayer Partner - be the person who upholds the child, the mentor and the relationship in life changing prayer.
- Substitute Mentor - be available to stand in for a mentor who must miss a session.
- Lummus Team - receive emails about special hands on projects at the school (carnivals, Easter egg hunt, luncheons, field trips, etc.) that need help.
