Young Adult Ministry

Welcome to The Bridge

For 4th, 5th & 6th Graders

The Bridge is a space specifically designed for 4th, 5th and 6th graders to make friends and build new bridges as they explore their strengths, challenges and questions. This transitioning age group will learn more about the Bible and how they can apply its principles to their everyday choices.

When youth come to The Bridge, they’ll experience adventure, arts and crafts, photography, foosball, indoor games, lego challenges, worship and Bible lessons on their level.

Where is the Bridge?

Older youth are invited to join the Bridge on Sundays in our new Kidstown building. We’ve made upgrades to create an additional worship space just for our 4th, 5th & 6th graders of Tabernacle.

Get Involved

Do you have a 4th, 5th or 6th grader that you want to see succeed? This great initiative requires 65-70 volunteers each week as we partner with parents to disciple and guide our children’s spiritual growth. Here are ways you can support the Bridge today!

Pray

Pray for our youth, parents and volunteers and staff as we launch this new ministry.

Volunteer

If you are a parent, teacher or have an interest in working with children on any level, reach out to [email protected] or call the church during office hours and see how you can support The Bridge volunteer team.

Alicia Glenn

Alicia Glenn

Children's Minister

Alicia Glenn and her family have been members at Tabernacle for 17 years. She has served in all areas of children ministry and has been on staff as the Preschool Minister since 2016. Prior to being on staff she has worked in Human Resources, management and recruiting in the heart of Downtown Dallas. Alicia has a heart for children of all ages and loves to see parents winning at discipling. Every single child is created in the image of God and loved by Him!

She and Shawn have been married for 25 years and blessed with four children: Austin, Ashley, Colby, Erin and our daughter-in-law Amber. Almost empty nesters, they share a passion for three things: faith, family and friends. Currently, Shawn serves in the Youth Ministry and they host the seventh & eighth graders small group in their home on Sunday nights.
