At the beginning of John’s revelation, he begins to show us a picture of the Exalted Christ. This image of Christ was powerful enough to leave John cowering before the Son of Man. Why don’t we ever approach Jesus like this? We don’t often have a proper image of the Exalted Christ because we don’t look at the picture in scripture.
